Are the custom bikes legal?
Our XS650 Bobbers are titled as a 70-84 Yamaha depending on donor bike availability. In some cases, an MSO (manufacturer’s statement of origin) will be provided if a Title is not available. This should enable easy registration/titling in most states. Ardcore Choppers, LLC makes no guarantee to the legality of any motorcycle in any certain state. These bikes come with no turn signals, etc. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure they meet local motor vehicle codes.
What are your shop hours?
Our schedule varies so if you need to visit, call us and we’ll arrange a time. If we’re in the middle of grinding or wrenching when you call, you may need to leave a message and we’ll get back to you ASAP.
Do you carry more parts?
We’re adding new in-house parts often and invite you to keep checking back to see what’s available. If you’re looking for something you don’t see on our site, chances are we can find just what you’re looking for! Shoot us an email or give us a call.
Do you post info on new builds or projects?
Yes! We will be keeping our Chop Blog up-to-date with new builds, new parts and any happenings here at the shop. We'll also keep you updated on any shows we'll be attending. Visit the blog and feel free to join in the conversation!
I see a lot of XS650s; do you specialize in other metrics?
Absolutely! A lot of folks come to us for the XS builds and parts, but we’re just as knowledgeable and experienced with other metrics. Many of our parts are universal while some are bike-specific. Actually, our mods for the Ace and Spirit models put us on the map. Also, check out our Road Star Springer Kit and VLX Swing Arm products. The Raven and Jay’s Bike are just two examples of our other metric builds.
Do you guys only focus on metric bikes?
Nope. Our specialty is metrics, but we can build a frame for just about any engine ever made. Let us know what you'd like to do and we'll see how we can help!
